The standard tip: 15% to 20% of the fare
For a limo, black car or chauffeured SUV, most riders tip 15% for good service and 20% for excellent service. Go toward 20% when your chauffeur handles heavy luggage, waits through a delayed flight, makes extra stops or gets a large group home safely late at night.

First, check whether gratuity is already included
Many limo companies add an automatic gratuity or "service charge" to the bill. Before you tip, read your quote or invoice. If a gratuity is already on it, an extra cash tip is optional.

How much to tip a limo driver for prom or a wedding
Use the same 15% to 20% on the total booked price. For prom, the easiest approach is for one parent to add the tip when paying, or for the group to collect it before the night so nobody is scrambling at 1 a.m. For weddings, the couple or the planner usually handles the tip at the end of the night.
How much to tip an Uber driver to the airport
Rideshare riders commonly tip in the same 15% to 20% range through the app. The difference with a car service is what you are tipping for: a pre-booked chauffeur, a set price, help with bags and a driver who waits for you instead of cancelling.
